Dian E. Hodges Funk passed away at the age of 53 on June 15, 2025.

Dian was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on September 28, 1971, to Melvin and Freda (Cleverly) Hodges. She grew up with her four brothers, Jed Abraham, Darren Van, Ned Leo and Byron Dean.

In November of 2007 Dian met Leslie L. Funk, the couple were married on July 4, 2019. They made their home in Clyde Park and spent many happy years together.

Dian followed Leslie to Livingston in 2010 and worked many jobs in the local area. She started out employed at McDonalds as the Floor Manager in the kitchen and then moved on to Winans School working janitorial duties and obtaining her boilers license. The kids at Winans fell in love with her and gave her the nickname of “Miss Dian”. After she left the school, she starting a new position for the Town of Clyde Park where she was in charge of water operations. Dian was highly respected and adored by Clyde Park residents. In her free time she would often help the retired town folks by plowing out driveways, mowing lawns, stacking wood and many other tasks. The last three years she worked in the deli at Town and Country Foods in Livingston.

Anyone who met Dian appreciated her straight forward personality and never questioned what she thought or how she felt. She loved all outdoor activities, especially hunting with Leslie and razor rides in the mountains.

The sunshine of her life was spending precious time with her children and grandchildren.

Dian is survived by her husband, Leslie Funk; children, Brandon J. (Erica) Radford, Luke J. (Sadie) Radford, Angel D. Spenser, Leann (Eddie)Fay; step-brothers, Mike Hodges, Ivan Hodges, Brad Hodges, Bobby Windsor; step-sister, Treicia Pace and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Freda Hodges; daughter, Tearny Spencer; son, Gerald Funk and brother, Darren Hodges.

Everyone that Dian met was a friend and family and they were the most important thing to her. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and laughter.

Private services will be held.
