Diana Alestra

Diana Alestra, born on July 23, 1924, in Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024, at the age of 99 in Clearwater, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Alestra, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories until his passing in 2009. Diana was a loving mother to the late Vincent Alestra and the late Jackie Alestra. She is survived by her daughters Annette Hoffmann and Marianne Alexander, her son-in-law Don Alexander, and her daughter-in-law Sue Alestra; her 7 grandchildren, Diana, Celeste, Christine, Robert, Tracey, John, and Donald-as well as her adored 3 great-grandchildren, Sofiya, Gabriel, and Chloe, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Logan and Sloane.
A woman of many interests, she loved playing bingo. In her spare time, she was an avid reader, she enjoyed crocheting, traveling and trying her luck at casinos.
As we bid farewell to Diana, we celebrate a life well-lived. Her memory will be cherished forever.
