It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diana Ball - Lawrence, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, who left us on December 14, 2024.
Diana was a cherished wife, devoted mother, adoring grandmother, beloved sister, and a loyal friend. Her kindness was boundless, and her selflessness shone brightly in everything she did. She had a passion for classic lifetime movies, enjoyed the thrill of playing bingo and slot machines, but above all, she treasured the moments spent with her family. Diana's spirit touched everyone who had the privilege to know her, and her absence will be deeply felt by many.
Born on December 31, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky, Diana was the daughter of Donald and Linda Mason. She held onto the love of her parents tightly while navigating the heartache of losing her sons, Robert Ball and Brandon Riggs, who preceded her in death.
Diana leaves behind a legacy of love embodied by her beloved husband of 17 years, Robert Lawrence; her son, Jeffrey Ball; her daughter, Kat Ball; and her grandchildren, Piper Key and Max Key. She is also survived by her brothers, Billy, Donald, and John Mason; her mother-in-law, Juanita (Billy) Lawrence; her step-son, Zachary Wilson; and countless extended family members and friends who will carry the warmth of her memory in their hearts forever.
A visitation to honor Diana’s life will take place on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel. A funeral service celebrating her life will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the funeral home.
