Diana Rodriguez Botello, passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 66, in her hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on January 29, 1958, she was a spirited soul who lived a life filled with adventure and warmth.
Diana was the cherished daughter of Manuel Bernal Rodriguez and Sofia Longoria Rodriguez. She grew up alongside her brother Ruben, her sisters Sandra, Rita, Anita, younger brother Enrique and stepsister, Gloria Longoria Trevino. Her legacy continued through her beloved children, David Urrea, IV, and Angelica Salinas. Diana's life was further brightened by the joy of her grandchildren, Devinn and David Urrea V; Christina and Jacob Salinas, and Carly Titsworth, and she was blessed to meet her great-grandchild, Elijah Reyna. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Diana loved fishing, camping, and going to the beach. She also loved to hang-out at the bingo hall, where she made lasting friendships. Lastly, Diana valued the time spent with her wonderful friend Roland Garcia. He was truly a friend to her in her darkest of times. He never missed coming over to check in on her - truly a remarkable friend.
As we bid farewell to Diana Rodriguez Botello, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was. Her infectious laughter, her kindness, and her fearless approach to life will continue to guide and inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Diana's memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories we share and the love we continue to hold for her. We will miss you always our beloved sister and friend.
