Diana Lynn Collyer, age 76, of Hale, MI., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 19, 2025. She was born on January 8, 1949, in Monroe, MI., to the late Harry and Dorothy (Jackson) Ludwig.
Diana attended school in Carlton, MI. She married Claude Collyer Sr. and had 3 children. Diana was a hard-working woman. She retired four times but always preferred going back to work. She was a professional housekeeper and baker. She baked for Carter's, which became Neiman's, then worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and baking, of course, for her family and friends. She liked card games of all kinds, playing yard games, like horseshoes, watching horror flicks and drinking bloody Mary's. More than anything else though, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Diana is survived by Claude Collyer Sr.; children, Suzy (Tim) Moore, Claude (Suzanne) Collyer Jr., Lynn Gamble; sister, Mary McLaughlin; grandchildren, Ashley, Cody (Megan), CJ, Aiden Gamble, Dakota; great-grandchildren, Mason, Brayden, Carter, Layla, Bentley, Aurora and many nieces and nephews.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Donna and Janice.
A celebration of life service will take place later. An online guest registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com to share condolences, memories, and photos of Diana.
