Diana Dobrowski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Silha Funeral Homes - Wibaux on Dec. 14, 2025.
Diana Dorothy Dobrowski, 85, passed away in the presence of family on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Spearfish, South Dakota. She was a devout Catholic, and lived her life with an overabundance of faith and kindness for others.

Diana was born on November 20th, 1940, in Beach, North Dakota; to Delphine and Dorothy Barthel. She grew up with 3 siblings, and was always available to provide a helping hand. On June 23rd, 1958, she married the love of her life Louis, and built their family together in Wibaux, Montana. She was always honored to be the wife of a farmer, and was happy to watch not only her kids, but neighbors' children; as well as multiple exchange students over the years.

In her free time, Diana enjoyed baking, gardening, and most of all sewing. She was a master at bringing teddy bears to life, and frequently donated her creations to the Montana Hope Project, which now features one of her bears as their logo. Above all, Diana was most passionate about spending time with loved ones. One of her greatest joys was getting to spend time with her kids and grandchildren, who she taught invaluable life skills; which they will cherish forever.

Diana is survived by her brother Richard (Judy). As well as her kids and their families; Tom (Lisa) with kids Josh (Bryn) their child Sawyer, Anna, Alicia, Justin, and Amanda. Dale (Patty), with Maxwell and Cole. Nancy (Gary), with sons Jacob and Tyler. As well as Sam (Kelli), with daughters Kathryn (Maurice) and son Shawn, and Abigail.

Diana's light never dimmed. Her immense sense of tenderness, joy, and empathy will live on forever through her kids and future descendants. She touched every person's life who came into contact with her, and we are all lucky to have known such a great woman. We all love you, and will miss you forever.

With Diana's lifelong passion and creativity with teddy bears, the family asks that if you have one, please bring it to the vigil and/or funeral to share with the community.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in her name to the Montana Hope Project - Montanahope.org

Silha Funeral Home of Wibaux has been entrusted with arrangements. Remembrances and condolences may be shared with the family at www.SilhaFuneralHomes.com.
