William Harry "BC" Curtis

William "BC" Curtis 64, of Wibaux Montana passed away peacefully in his home on January 13, 2026, leaving behind his legacy of dedication and hard work for life. BC was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin. He believed in honesty, hard work, and integrity.

BC was born in Quinn SD to Marvin and Bonnie Curtis on December 4, 1961. He was the youngest of 8 kids. BC grew up in Quinn SD where he graduated from high school. After high school he moved to eastern Montana where he discovered his love and passion for the oilfield. BC worked for over 40 years in the oilfield. During this time, he met many people along the ways who'd become great friends and almost like family. BC married Tamela A Perkins on April 30, 1996 in Wibaux MT, where he took on 5 stepchildren and raised them as his own.

BC enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, and traveling. If he wasn't buried in his work, he was outside doing the things he loved. BC will be missed by the many lives he's touched over the years. He will always be remembered, and never forgotten.

BC is survived by his children, Faron Taylor of Mountain View Missouri, Jesse (Heather) Perkins of Dickinson North Dakota, Sammi (Jason) Kolding of Watford City North Dakota, Jon (Laynee) Taylor of Dickinson North Dakota, Zach Curtis of Watford City North Dakota, siblings Russell Curtis of Oral South Dakota, Carolyn Brech of Chandron Nebraska, Jack (Phyllis) Curtis of New Castle Wyoming, Dave (Judy) Curtis of Wall South Dakota, Linda (Tucky) Tifft of Owanka South Dakota, Marsha (Norman) Eisenbraun of Wall South Dakota, Janet (Kenneth) Wilson of Elm Springs South Dakota, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His dear friends, Shawn Gainan, Steve James, Karina Dale, Rob Heim, Roger A Johnson, Tom Tessier, Richard Trotter, Gordon Dobitz, Jan Huisman, Eddie Diaz, Frosty French, Mitch Ingram, and many others.

BC is proceeded in death by his wife Tamela A Curtis, and parents Marvin and Bonnie Curtis.

Per BC's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held later this year. Silha Funeral Home of Wibaux has been entrusted with the arrangements.
