Sien-Shelton Funeral HomeDiana Sue Hendryx, age 70, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on November 15, 2025. Born on July 22, 1955, in Tulsa, she was the daughter of Herbert Lee Scott and Bonnie Jean (Childers) Scott.
Diana grew up in Skiatook, Oklahoma, and graduated from Skiatook High School in 1973. Following her high school graduation, she pursued her studies at Tulsa Junior College. On November 23, 1973, she wed Roger Clayton Hendryx in Skiatook, where they built a loving home together infused with warmth and affection.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Bonnie Scott and her son, Sean Alan Hendryx.
Throughout her life, Diana demonstrated an unwavering dedication to her family. She was a cherished mother to her children, Kevin and his wife Debbie, Michelle and her husband Tracy, Adam and his wife Tabitha, and was particularly proud of her grandchildren: Jazmine Flora, Carly Moore, Lily Moore, Avery Moore, Zoe Hendryx, Madison Hendryx, and Riley Hendryx. Diana also shared a special bond with her siblings, Terry Scott and husband Rob, Nancy Sharkey and husband Allen, and Jeana DeShazer and husband David, along with several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A woman of many passions, Diana enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, and reading. She was also an avid supporter of the Oklahoma University football and softball teams. Most importantly, she treasured time spent with her family, crafting memories that will last a lifetime.
Diana's absence will be profoundly felt by all those whose lives she touched. She will be remembered not only for her nurturing spirit and creativity but also for her unwavering love for her family. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will be held at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel in Skiatook on November 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place at the same location on November 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM, concluding at 11:00 AM.
