He taught physical skills, but also focused on student's personal discipline, integrity and attitude. His program inspired young athletes to strive for excellence both on and off the court and resulted in the development of two State Champions.
Kendall's interests extended beyond education and sports. He enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and riding horses, activities that reflected his love for both mental challenges and being close to nature. Water skiing was also among his fond pastimes, showcasing his adventurous spirit.
Kendall was a proud veteran of the United States Army, where he served his country and earned an honorable discharge. He carried with him the values of integrity and resilience, which resonated throughout his life and career.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Rhea Davis, along with their three daughters: Kendra Davis and husband Mitchell Head, Lynn Egan, and Jana Canavan and husband Jason Norrid. His legacy continues through his five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of his spirit.
