Diana Hubbard, longtime resident of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 8, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born to Beryl Inez Hardin (nee Field), and Bobby Roland Hardin in Nashville, Arkansas, on June 21, 1957. After her parents divorced, she was adopted by her stepfather, Christopher Hubbard. Following her 1976 graduation from Magnolia (Arkansas) High School, she earned her Associates Degree in Electronics and Avionics from Technical Trades Institute in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In the early 1990s she built circuit boards for computer innovator, Seymour Cray, at Cray Computers in Colorado Springs. She went on to work for Apple Computers and Boeing. Later in the1990s, she worked building communication cables for Beowulf Corporation, a government defense contractor located in Huntsville, Alabama. In the mid-2000s, she earned her CDL and became a long-haul OTR trucker, traveling from coast to coast and border to border, crisscrossing the country. She was a bold risk-taker and lived her life to the very fullest.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beryl Hubbard; stepfather, Christopher Hubbard, and her biological father, Bob Hardin.

Diana is survived by her daughter, Christine Eskew, of Charleston; granddaughter, Nicole Eskew, of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Donna Kelley (Rick Jarrett), of Charleston; brother, Charles Hubbard (Sandy), of Mobile, Alabama; half-brothers, Dan and Don Hardin, of Shreveport, Louisiana; favorite cousin, Kathy Wheatley (George), of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and her beloved dog, Freckles.

Diana elected to not have a funeral service.

Donations to HospiceCare at 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W, Charleston, WV 25387, would be greatly appreciated.
