Diana Kay Mangum

Diana Kay Mangum (Fetty) passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on November 7, 2025. She was born on August 9, 1944, in Hudson, Michigan. Diana was the beloved matriarch of her family, deeply cherished by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children: Barbara (Billy) Sloan of Kalamazoo, MI; Kimberley Lee of Bradenton, FL; Eugene Tucker of Benton Harbor, MI; and stepdaughter Kristi (Doug) Byram of Bradenton, FL. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life.
Diana devoted thirty years of her life to nursing as an LPN, retiring in 2021. She was well known for her exceptional culinary skills, most notably her famous steak burritos that no one has ever been able to duplicate. Her love for the holidays was evident in her beautifully decorated Christmas trees and festive displays-Christmas was her favorite time of year to celebrate both her faith and her family.
Diana's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church in Parrish, FL, and had previously attended Hope Lutheran in Bradenton. Her love for her family ran deep, and she will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her. Diana was also a long-time member of The Elks Club.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Fetty; her mother, Dorothy Clem (Lewis); her brother, Larry Fetty; and her sister, Kathryn Daykin (Fetty).
A service to honor Diana's life will be held on Saturday, November 15, at Faith Lutheran Church, 9608 US Highway 301 North, Parrish, FL 34219, at 10:30 a.m., with a luncheon to follow.
