With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share that Diana Arellano Peña entered the gates of Heaven on October 2, 2025, surrounded by her family who adored her beyond measure.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Cande Arellano, Sr. and her beloved daughter, Mandi A. Morin.

Diana is survived by her devoted husband, Gabriel Peña, and her daughter, Annie Arellano (Jay Veloz). She was a proud grandmother to Alyssa Veloz (Jesse Zuniga), Alex Veloz (Dominique Rodriguez), Abraham Veloz, and Aeron "Sam" Veloz, and a loving great-grandmother to Daniel Gomez, Olive Zuniga, Noah Zuniga, and Avory Veloz.

She is also survived by her siblings, Jesus "Kikie" (Linda) Arellano Jr., Bunny (Ramon) Garcia., Gilbert (Adele) Arellano, Norma (Frank) Castillo, David (Ellen) Arellano, and Danny (Victoria) Arellano, and Ray Arellano.

Diana worked for Southwestern Bell Company, where she was a phone operator and coin collector before retiring after 30 years. She was a devoted member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, where she joyfully taught CCD classes.

Diana found happiness in baking, crafting, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her endless love, kindness, and thoughtfulness, always putting others before herself.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 8, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Combes St, San Benito, TX.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday October 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Mont Memorial Mausoleum.

Diana's love and light will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
