Gabaldon MortuaryOctavio Pena Vicencio, age 50, born in Mexico City, Mexico, and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 2, 2025. Octavio is survived by his sons, Octavio Pena Jr. and Jesse Pena; fiancée, Cassandra Saiz; brothers, Irving Pena Vicencio and wife, Norma Abonce, Francisco Pena Vicencio and wife, Aracely Ruiz Joya; nieces and nephews, Isaac, Angel, Elliana, Abigail. Sofia, Aldair, and Paulina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Balbino Pena and Yolanda Vicencio, maternal grandparents, Ruben Vicencio Ortiz, Florentina Escalante Mendez, fraternal grandparents, Francisco Pena Cruz and Isabel Gamboa Fentanez, and Grandma Villa. A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 8:45 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:15 a.m. and a Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. all at St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church 3424 4th St. NW with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Pallbearers will be Octavio Pena Jr., Jesse Pena, Irving Pena Vicencio, Isaac Abonce, Angel Abonce, Pete Saiz, and Damany Dixson. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Jeremy Montoya, Gabriel Sanchez, Michael Saiz, Salvador Padilla, Matthew Espinosa and Fermin Lucero Sr.
