Susan Pena, age 60, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, at home. She was born July 31, 1965, at Groton, Connecticut Naval Base to Charles Trowbridge and Linda Trowbridge.
She graduated in 1983, the founding year of Western High School, in Davie, Florida. She married Raymond Pena on October 21,1989, in Miami Beach, Florida. Susan worked as a paralegal at the law firm of Banker, Lopez and Gassler for the last 23 years, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems.
She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, and spending time planning her next trip. Susan had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
She is survived by her parents: Charles and Linda; her husband, Ray; sister, Linda Bello; brother, Robert Trowbridge; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Susan touched are invited to Beggs Funeral Home (485 East Dogwood Street, Monticello, Florida) beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, to reminisce, grieve, and support each other.
