Sandra Gail Dodson Carrin "Sandy", 80, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. She was born on September 27, 1945, in Plain Dealing, Louisiana, to Raymond and Gussie Dobson, and lived a life full of love, hard work, and devotion to her family.
Sandy is survived by her loving daughter, Antonia Elizabeth "Toni" Carrin, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her three beloved children: William P. Carrin III (Bill), Stephanie Dawn Carrin-Grantham, and Raymond Marshall Carrin.
Sandy made her home in Greensboro, Florida, for the past 14 years, where she surrounded herself with family and friends who loved her dearly. She worked as the Food Safety Manager at Juniper Tomato Growers, Inc. for 20 years, where her coworkers became like family. Sandy truly loved her job and the people she worked with, finding joy and purpose every day at the farm.
Family meant everything to Sandy. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren-each one brought light and laughter into her life. She was a wonderful cook who loved preparing meals for the people she loved, and her home was always filled with warmth, good food, and laughter.
Sandy had a special place in her heart for her great-grandson, Ryder, whom she lovingly raised. Their bond was unbreakable, and her love and care made a lasting difference in his life,
A celebration of Sandy Kane's life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Beggs Funeral Homes, Inc., 3322 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her life and the love she shared with everyone she met.
