Silas Smith Obituary

Silas was born on December 1, 1940 in Tallahassee. He worked in the construction industry before retiring. He enjoyed riding in the woods, watching old westerns and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Silas Sr and Minnie Coleman Smith and his beloved grandson, Caleb Jeffrey Smith.
Silas is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen; three children, Pauline Howard (Elmer) of Crawfordville, Silas Jeff Smith (Frances) of Crawfordville and Myndi Craig (Chris) of Tallahassee; four grandchildren, Carrieann McCain (Shae) of Valdosta, Michael Howard of Panama City, Shelby Smith of Crawfordville and Preston Craig of Tallahassee.
Service will be held Saturday, October 4 at the White Church in Woodville at 12pm, with a viewing at 11am.
