Maria Teresa Orellana, age 84, born in Guastatoya, El Progreso, Guatemala and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 7, 2025. Maria is survived by her children, Julio Neri Palencia Orellana, Edwin Palencia Orellana, Nidia Palencia Orellana, Ronald Palencia Orellana, Gervel Palencia Orellana, Maria Palencia Orellana, Jorge Palencia Orellana; twenty grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Anibal, Lucila and Graciela. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lillian, and brother, Gilberto Orellana Veliz. The services for Maria will be celebrated at San Jose Catholic Church 2401 Broadway Blvd SE. Service date and times are pending.
