Diane J. Barnes

Diane Barnes, age 76, of Stroudsburg, PA, passed away Monday afternoon, October 6, 2025, at St Luke's Hospital Monroe Campus in Stroudsburg, PA.
She was born April 27, 1949, in Paterson, NJ, a daughter of the late Julius & Bernice Grant.
Diane was a loving wife to Martin Barnes who passed away in December of 2012. She was also preceded in death by her son Gregory Barnes, and her Grandson Oliver Barnes.
She was a member of Jesus the Christ Church, where she was a Golden Saints Member. She was also a founding member of the Marty Barnes Civic Association.
Diane worked as a Technical Trainer for AT&T in Parsippany, NJ for 35 years until she retired.
We have been blessed with the presence of Diane in our lives. She will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Antoinette Barnes of Saylorsburg, PA.
She was the loving grandmother to: Joycelyn, Mya, Antwon, Cierra and Miykael Barnes.
Diane is also survived by her siblings: Barbara Grant, Deborah Bolt and spouse Carl, Julius Grant Jr. and spouse Carolyn, Sandra Roach, Jeffrey Grant, Cynthia Peterson and spouse Tom, Leona Hammond and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences at 12:00 PM, on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Jesus the Christ Church, 103 Tanite Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, followed by a 1:00 PM Funeral service at the church.
Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.
