Robert H. Fischetti

Robert "Peter" Henry Fischetti Sr., 92, of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully on October 15th, 2025, in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
Born on July 16th, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, Robert served in the United States Marine Corps from 1951 to 1955 and was a proud Korean War veteran. His time in the service shaped his discipline, independence, and quick wit, qualities that remained with him throughout his life.
Robert was a lifelong member of the Elks, the American Legion, the VFW, and the Lions Club, where he valued the camaraderie and shared stories among fellow veterans and community members. A passionate sports fan, he followed nearly every game, especially baseball, his lifelong favorite.
He loved history and travel, and he was known for his sweet tooth, sharp humor, and knack for conversation. Always well dressed and ready with a story or a joke, he had a way of making every interaction memorable.
Robert is survived by his wife, Dawn Margaret Fischetti; his daughter, Rain Marie Biggerman and her husband, Eric Biggerman; his son, Robert Henry Fischetti Jr. and his partner, Chandni; and his grandchildren, Sophia Rae Biggerman, Jake Eric Biggerman, and Ava Rose Marie Fischetti, who will remember his humor, love of history, and quick wit.
A service to honor Robert's life will be held on October 25th at 2:00 PM at American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert, Pennsylvania. Friends and family are welcome to offer condolences from 12:00 PM until time of service at the American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Valor Clinic, P.O. Box 315, Brodheadsville, PA 18322 in his memory, recognizing his service and dedication to fellow veterans.
