Diane D. Baumann was born November 6, 1948 to Joan and Claude Karasch at the St. Cloud, Minnesota hospital. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. She attended Sartell Grade School and Tech High School, graduating in 1966.
On November 9, 1974 she married Dennis V. Baumann and adopted Steven Baumann,his son as her own. They made their first home in Lincoln, Nebraska,then returned to Minnesota. Soon after, Lance was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. After making a home for her family on Lexington Avenue, she proceeded to make a home for her family in Lino Lakes, MN; Fountain Hills, AZ; Phoenix, AZ; Fort Collins, CO; Wellington, CO; Maquoketa, IA; Aitkin, MN; and finally returning to Phoenix, AZ. Each house she made into a comfy home for her husband and boys. She had many fond memories of the friends she met along the way.
Diane worked as a secretary for Prudential Insurance Company, Minneapolis, MN; an executive secretary at First National Bank of Minneapolis, MN; Ball Electronic Display Corporation, St. Paul, MN. Teledyne Water Pik and Vipont Pharmaceutical, Fort Collins, CO; First National Bank of Deerwood, Deerwood, MN; and as Vice President of International Business Ventures, Phoenix, AZ, and Board Member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. She enjoyed flower gardening, decorating, crafts, and most of all being with her boys and their families.
On Tuesday, August 13,2024, Diane died at The Sherman Home at the age of 75.
Diane is survived by her husband, Dennis, and two sons, Steven of Phoenix, AZ, and Lance of Aitkin, MN; their spouses, Rena and Candi; Sister, Lois (Karasch) Heathcote, Sartel, MN; Brother, Russell Karasch, St. Joseph, MN; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Her parents and brother, Richard preceded her in death.
Diane loved her family and looked forward to sharing eternity with our Lord and her family.
