Diane was born on December 8, 1952, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Cojuan and Wilford Sims. They moved to Tulsa when Diane was two years old. She attended Tulsa Public Schools. Later on, in life Diane then met and married Jame H. Gibbs and to this union one son, Raynier Lamont Gibbs was born. She was also employed at Oaks Country Club and later moved to Oklahoma City where she worked in the quality assurance department at Gilardi Food until their closing and employment at ACH Food. Diane later married Lowell Brinlee and also moved to Tulsa to be closer with her dad. Diane's hobbies included breeding Pug Ack puppies, she loved fishing, cooking, and gardening. Diane was a lover of animals of all kinds and had a big love for music.
Diane will be greeted by her mother Cojuan Sims and father Wilford Sims at Heaven's Gates.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son Raynier Lamont Gibbs, grandchildren; Mia Donovan Haven Farley, Trevione Farley, Raynier Lamont Farley, Jr., Ashley Cojuan Farley, Jasmine Farley, Elijah Farley, and Shelby Salas. Along with her brothers, James Mayes, and Wilford Sims, Jr., stepdad Otis Davis, aunt Jackie Bevers, and many other loving family members and friends.
Special thanks to Jackie Bevers aunt and Granddaughter Mia for being there through my journey to beginning to the end love Diane.
Visitation for Diane will take place on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 12pm-3pm at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2pm at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home.
