Devoted mother and grandmother
Diane Marie Denton, age 70, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 around 4:30pm at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Diane was born Tuesday November 24, 1953 in Howell, MI at McPherson Memorial Hospital to George and Charlotte (Reyhl) Sherwood. She was raised in Fowlerville Michigan and graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1972. Diane was married to Danny Denton on April 27, 1973. She is predeceased by Charlotte and George Sherwood.
Diane was a wonderful mother. She is survived by her three children, Shawn Denton, Candice Denton and Kimberly Fisher. She is also survived by her six grandsons Haddan, Jacob, Aiden, Elwood, Leland and Declan. Diane has two sisters, Cindy and Peggy, as well as four beautiful nieces and many cousins. She loved her family and loved her community.
Diane enjoyed trips up North and being outside. She would spend many days at the pond tucked back in the woods on her family's land. She had a passion for interior design and is known for her wonderful style. Diane was loved by many and will be missed very much.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday March 21, 2024 at Herrmann Funeral home in Fowlerville, MI at 5:00 pm with visitation starting at 3:00 pm Service will be followed by Dinner and a celebration of life at 5:30pm the Howell Eagles club located at 141 Schroeder Park Dr. Howell MI 48843. All family and friends are welcome to join.
In remembrance of Diane's life and love, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's disease research.
