Diane Joy Heller

Diane Heller was born on October 29th, 1941 to her parents, Genevieve and John Sr Arnn in the district of Washington DC. As a child, she had a love for horses and hot rods, which continued throughout her life. Diane devoted her life to motherhood through her three children: Denise, Robert Jr. (Bob) and Russell. That love continued to nourish, growing to nine grandchildren and thirteen great. Many great weekend's at grandma and pa's house were had!
Despite Diane living a full life with her family, she continued to dedicate time to the community, as a crossing guard for five years and twenty years as a volunteer police station administrator. As she aged, she grew fond of the art, crafts, and always asked when the next beach trip was planned. She sadly passed on Friday May 16th, but only after saying goodbye to her cherished family. Diane lived a fulfilling 84 years, and kept her spunky attitude throughout. A celebration of life will be held at Hardesty Funeral Home in Galesville, MD on May 28th. The viewing is from 2-4pm and service will commence immediately at 4pm. Hardesty Funeral is located at 905 Galesville Rd. 20765.
