Diane Louise Maynard

Diane Louise Maynard, age 72, of Canton, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024. She was born in Massillon on August 22, 1952, the daughter of the late Carl Edward and Rita Mary (Halter) Jordan. Diane was a graduate of Tuslaw High School class of 1970. She had been employed with Fleming Foods as an Executive Secretary for 25 years before their closing. Diane was a devoted member of the Faith Bible Church. She was very faithful and enjoyed reading the Bible and doing her daily devotions, especially on her front porch. She dearly loved the tradition of spending time with others in her congregation to pray and have meals together. Diane loved to help people, volunteering for various services at her church, and at The Pregnancy and Parenting Center and women's shelters. Diane also took great joy in home design, often changing her decor to celebrate the seasons and holidays, and tending to her flower beds. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
On April 7, 2001, Diane married Gary Maynard who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Mandy (Carmine) Mariani; her son, Jarrod (Sara) Dusz; her stepson, David (Maggie) Gall-Maynard; her grandchildren, Tino Mariani, Gabe Mariani, Willow Dusz, Vayda Dusz and Aspasia Gall-Maynard; along with her siblings, Sharon (Basil) Violand, Barbara (Daniel) Yoder, Dennis Jordan, Lavonne Lynch, and Teresa (Jeff) McClintock.
A Memorial service will be held at the Faith Bible Church (6655 Firestone Rd, Canton, OH 44721) on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 7:00pm, with Pastor Bruce Smith officiating.
