Robert "Stoney" Stoneking, a cherished member of his family and community, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on July 5, 1957, Robert dedicated over 20 years of his life to working as a Forklift Operator for Americold Logistics before retiring and embracing the next chapter of his life.
Robert's education was rooted in his early years spent attending Tuslaw High School, where he laid the groundwork for his future endeavors. He was known for his steadfast commitment to his work and the values of hard work and dedication.
Outside of his career, Robert's greatest joy was his family and the outdoors. He was a loving husband to Denise, and he is also survived by daughters: Heather (Ray) Ross, Mindy (Aaron) Draime, and Chelsea (Kenny) Pettis; and grandchildren, Silas, Jameson, Everly, Alaina, Mackenzie, and Kenny. Robert also leaves behind his siblings, Sister, Melinda Baker and Brothers, Donald Stoneking, and Marty Stoneking, along with many nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion Boston.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Donald Stoneking, and mother, Dorothy Stoneking, both of whom influenced his life greatly, instilling in him the love and values he shared with his own family.
Robert will be remembered for his kindness, love for his family and friends, and the joyful spirit he brought to those who knew him. He leaves behind a rich legacy of love and commitment that will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know him.
The visitation in honor of Robert Stoneking will take place on December 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, located at 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM at the same location.
