Scottsdale, AZ – Diane Oeste, 80, of Scottsdale, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, surrounded by family.
Born on May 28, 1945, in Chicago, Diane was the cherished daughter of Gisela and Gustav Sorgatz. She grew up with her younger sisters Anita and Darlene, and brother Glen.
Diane attended Ravenswood United Church of Christ in Chicago where she met the love of her life, Alan W. Oeste, and they were married in 1965. They started their own family in Park Ridge, Illinois. Diane was a devoted mother to daughter Karen and son Kevin. As the kids grew, Diane built a career in health care starting at Lutheran General Hospital.
Since moving to Scottsdale in 1997, Diane embraced the Arizona sunshine that brightened her days. She was deeply active at her church, where her beautiful voice graced the choir for years. A gifted artist and passionate about music, Diane found peace and purpose at her easel, drawing and painting scenes that captured the beauty she saw in the world.
Professionally, Diane enjoyed a distinguished career in physician credentialing. She earned the titles of Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) and Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), and was a longtime member of the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS). As president and owner of CSS Credentialing Support Source, LLC, she built a respected business grounded in precision, integrity, and care for the medical community.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alan W. Oeste. Diane is survived by her daughter Karen Schmale (Peter); her son Kevin Oeste (Kelle); and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss her radiant smile and open heart.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and quiet strength that will live on in every song sung, every canvas painted, and every heart she touched.
