Obituary of Diane Irene Pickar
Diane Irene Pickar passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 77 after a 10-year battle with dementia. Diane was a resident of Personal Care Senior Living in Andover, MN. Born March 16, 1947 in St. Paul, MN, Diane was the loving daughter of Cleon Stieglbauer and Catherine Farrell Stieglbauer.
Diane was a homemaker for many years. Later in life, Diane received her CNA certificate and became an EKG technician at Mercy Hospital. Diane was a member of the Open Range Cowboy Church in Ham Lake, MN. Diane enjoyed cooking, working in her flower gardens, and traveling with her sister. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Diane was preceeded in death by her parents, Cleon and Catherine Stieglbauer; husband, Dennis Pickar; siblings, Kathy Zweber, Eileen Schreiner, Mark Steiglbauer; and granddaughter, Seren Maser. She is survived by daughter, Laura Lapham and her husband Douglas of Big Lake, MN, and their children, Lucas Lapham and Liea Lapham; son, Tyrone Maser of Burnsville, MN; son, Jason Maser of Coon Rapids, MN, and his children, Tisha Beseke and daughter, LilyAna, Christian Phares; daughter, Julie Bartell and her husband, Cory of Oak Grove, MN, and their children, Ashley Coburn and her husband, Tristan and their children, Henry and Dylan, Hannah Bartell and Carter Bartell; stepson, Scott Pickar and his wife Patte of Elk River, MN; stepson, Greg Pickar, his wife, of Champlin, MN, and their son, Ryan Pickar.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12 from 2:00 pm with service to follow at 2:30 pm at the Open Range Cowboy Church 17525 MN-65, Ham Lake, MN 55304. The family has asked that Memorial Contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
