Diane Kelley Silcox, 89, was gathered home to her people on January 31, 2026 in Danielsville, GA. She was born on July 10, 1936, in San Diego, California. Diane Kelley Silcox lived a life marked by devotion to her family and faith.
Diane pursued her education with determination and purpose. She attended high school at Berry College and later continued her studies at the University of Georgia, where she majored in Home Economics. Her career path reflected her deep interest in nurturing and sustaining the well-being of those around her.
She shared 49 cherished years of marriage with her beloved husband, Thomas Graye Silcox, whose memory remained close to her heart following his passing. Together, they built a family rooted in love and resilience.
Diane is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Deborah Anne Chandler (Terry) and her son, Craig Lee Silcox. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Robert Jack Chandler (Jennifer), Jennifer Michelle Neal (Brady), Kimberly Lane Howell (Heath), Chase Allen Silcox, and Thomas Warren Silcox.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moriah Primitive Baptist Church in Diane’s memory.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10:00 am at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
