Diane Lynn Sydlo Corney

Diane Lynn Sydlo Corney, age 93, of Elizabeth City, NC, died at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. She was born in Bayonne, NJ, on December 6, 1931, to the late John and Mary Sydlo. Diane married into the Army and lived briefly in the South and then in the Northeast. She was a stay-at-home mom when her daughter was young. She loved the New Jersey shore and spending time with family. Diane took a trip to Disney World in May and kept a drivers license until recently. Keeping busy was her desire, and she enjoyed volunteering with the church ministry and sewing.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Wolff and her husband, William; her grandchildren, Jessica Tomic (Richard) and Christopher Wolff (Kelley); and her great-grandchildren, Logan, Gavin, Connor, Colin, Marisa, and Maura. She was predeceased by her parents and her four siblings.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Church of the Redeemer. Details will be added here when available.
