Born on November 28,1954 to Donald & Patricia Hoffman in Fayetteville North Carolina, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025 at age 71.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and wonder. She was the cherished wife of Jay Lee Watkins, who preceded her in death. Together they had 4 children. She helped raise 6 step children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In her time here she was in the army, She graduated from Granite High School. She completed a BAS in Human Resources, AAS in Business Management and graduated with a BAS in Business Administration in 2009. She and Jay ran a Restaurant, She sold Jewelry and Art from home, and she loved her time in the SCA and she loved trying new things, helping her favorite causes.
Diane has now returned home to her loving husband Jay and her daughter Helen. Where she longed to be for some time. She was preceded in death by Jay Lee Watkins (husband),Helen Elizabeth Watkins (Daughter), Donald & Patricia Hoffman (Parents), Liz Mattson (sister),Kay Hoffman (sister) and Donnie Mattson (nephew). She leaves behind her 3 Children and Grandchildren. Her children include Michele (Mark) Morrison, Patrick (Juanita) Watkins, and Ryan Watkins.
Her grandchildren: Dylan Watkins, Chase Watkins, Tristen Morrison, Kassandra Morrison, Kaleb Morrison, Jayden Morrison, Montgomery Morrison, Austin Watkins, Parker Watkins, Breann Babcock, Gotham Essick and many more Step Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
She will always be in our Hearts and Minds.
