Diane White, 93, of Enfield, Illinois who has lived with her daughter Kathy and family in Bonaire, Georgia for the past six years, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2024. She was born on February 16, 1931, In Ridgway, Illinois, the daughter of  Shan and Elaine (Glascock) Hise. Diane married Harry Junior White on March 11, 1951. and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1999. She worked as a hairdresser for over 60 years. Diane was a member of the Enfield General Baptist Church. She had a passion for sewing, cooking, baking and working in her flowers. In more recent years she spent a lot of time reading. Diane enjoyed drinking Dr. Pepper, having caramel frappes from McDonald's, and snacking on cookies and dark chocolate. Most of all, Diane loved spending time with her family. They will remember her as a great mother, grandmother, and friend.

     Diane is survived by her children, Kathy (Charles) Bradshaw, and Karen (Ed) Lang; grandchildren, Michele (Randy) Daniel, Melissa (Chavis) Bradshaw- Marshall, Jessica Burroughs and Jason Burroughs; great-grandchildren, Savannah ( Garrett Goff) Daniel, Austin (Brooke Bickford) Daniel, Kailey Harris and Aubrie Burroughs; one great-great grandchild, Griffin Goff; siblings, Shan Hise and Linda (Kenny) Jones; one brother-in-law,  Andy Moye. In addition to her husband, Harry White, Diane is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Barbara Moye and a sister-in-law, Barbara Hise.

     Funeral services for Diane White will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield, with burial at Hammack Cemetery in Springerton, Illinois. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield. For those who would rather make a donation than send flowers, contributions can be made in Diane's memory to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield and can also be mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
