Diane Wichert Obituary
Diane Wichert (Burling), 82, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Diane, a California native, made her way to Denver, where she met Ed in 1972 and married the following year. They spent more than 50 wonderful years together raising four children and creating a lifetime of love and many cherished memories with family and friends.
Diane will be fondly remembered for her adventurous spirit and creativity. She found joy in summers spent camping, traveling and exploring with friends and family as well as sewing, painting, photography and especially tending to her beloved gardens full of her favorite flowers. Diane's lifelong connection to the beach was evident through her collection of shells and several of her photos, drawings and paintings. She loved the peaceful sound of the ocean and the feel of warm sand between her toes, all bringing her contentment and happiness.
A memorial service celebrating Diane’s life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11 AM in the chapel of Augustana Lutheran church in Denver. Reception to follow.
