Diane P. Zalewski

Diane Pearl Zalewski (Lute) age 69 passed away peacefully February 11, 2024, after a month-long battle of pneumonia. Diane was born April 24, 1954. She was born and raised in Warren Michigan. She spent her adult life as a home maker raising her children. When it was time for volunteers for bake sales, or scouting, Diane always volunteered to help. She enjoyed being "Cookie" mom for the granddaughters' scouting troops. She was passionate about helping come up with crafts for the kids to do to enhance their imagination. Diane had a love for quilting and crocheting. You could find her most of the time planning her next quilting project. She enjoyed going to bingo as often as she could. She spent some of her free time expanding her horizons by learning other cultures while watching different culture documentaries and television shows with sub-titles.
Diane was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Diane was pre-deceased by her parents Daniel & Iva Lute, her spouse Chirstopher, as well as her siblings Gary, Thomas, and Baby Boy Lute. Her memories will be kept alive with her siblings; Carol (Robert) Danner, David Lute, James Lute. She is survived by her children; Joseph (Cori) Monaco, Camillo (Jamilah) Monaco II, and Patrick Monaco. Her adoring grandchildren; Kyle, Samantha, Jordyn, Giannia, Patrick, Malena, Sierra, Erin, Violet, Camillo III. Her loving nephews and nieces; some great nephew's and niece's.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held April 6, 2024 from 12:00pm- 4:00pm at 22212 Gratiot, Eastpointe, Michigan 48021
