Dianna Lynn Bauer, 72, of Streator passed away Friday December 19, 2025 at 4:26 AM at her residence.
A Celebration of her life will be held Sunday December 28th from 1-4 PM at The Gate 103 in Westgate Plaza in Streator. Casual Attire is requested. Diane requested no services but to have a party in her honor. She will be inurned at Hillcrest Memorial Park at a later date.
She was born on July 17, 1953 in Streator to the late Kenneth Darwin Jackson and the late Nancy Lee Hagie. She was formerly married to Dale Crawford who passed away in 1976 and Gerald P. Bauer who passed away in 2023.
She is survived by her children: Robert (Emily) Crawford of Bloomington, Jeremy (Amanda Yurich) Bauer of Manville, Taylor Scott of Streator, Payton Scott of Bloomington and Lynzee Scott of Bloomington who were all reminded by her favorite phrase "Last time I looked in the mirror, I was still the mom". Also surviving are her grandchildren: Devin Bauer, Alie Bauer, Gwen Crawford, Caidyn Scott and Mason Scott; a great grandson Jayce Bauer; her dad: Morton "Russ" Baker of Streator; stepmother: Mary Lee Jackson of Streator; siblings: Cindy (J.J.) Neiggemann and Amy (Terry) Oelschlager, Bryan Baker and Terry Baker all of Streator, Cheryl Cinnamon of Pontiac, Danny Jackson of Marseilles, Bob Jackson and Mark Jackson both of Streator and Kenny Jackson Jr. of Bloomington and aunts: Margaret "Peg" Moore of Streator, Pam McCollum of Long Point and Gloria Perrel of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Jackson, her mother Nancy Lee Baker; grandsons, Ian Bauer and Gavin Scott, a great granddaughter Layla Holofchak and her best friend Anita (Wind-Crank) Mullany.
Diane attended Streator Township High School and was a C.N.A. having worked at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Flanagan then Parker Rehabilitation in Streator. She also was a cook at the Kangley Inn and helped her mom cook at the Streator Eagles and American Legion for many years.
Memorials may be directed to her family.
