Dianna McComas Obituary
Dianna was born on September 8th, 1947 in Cullman, Alabama, the daughter of Martha and Alfes Smith. Her family later relocated to Westland, Michigan. Dianna graduated from Franklin High School in Westland Michigan in 1965.
Dianna married Danny McComas on August 15th, 1970. They were married for almost 55 years and had 2 children, Daniel and Dawn. The family relocated from Michigan to Salisbury, NC in 1979 and opened Danny's Place in Rockwell in 1980. They later opened a second Danny's Place in Concord in 1986. They retired in 2012.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a long time member of Faith Baptist Church. She also loved traveling. She and Danny rode their motorcycle all over the United States.
She is survived by her husband Danny McComas, son Daniel (April), daughter Dawn Hunter (Jonathan), and her 4 grandchildren, Madison Hunter, Jake Hunter, Alex McComas, and Lindsay McComas.
Preceding Dianna in death were her parents, Martha and Alfes Smith; sister Dorothy, and brothers Danny and Dennis Smith.
The funeral service will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Faith NC on Tuesday, July 8th, at 11:00 with visitation to follow.

Your mom was such a wonderful woman. I looked forward to seeing her sub so I could go get one of the best "mom hugs" ever. I remember when she admired a red, white, and blue scarf I was wearing. She and Mr. McComas had a military event that weekend and I gave it to her. I cannot dress up for a patriotic event without thinking of her. My heart is saddened but I know she is dining with the Lord and I will see her again, one day. Sending love and prayers that the Lord will comfort you during this time.
