Dianne Long Amick, 76, of Prosperity, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at White Oak Manor.

Born on January 17, 1947, in Gilbert, she was a daughter of the late Rembert S. and Marie Hyler Long.  Dianne was retired from Hamm Hardware and was a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church where she was involved with the Adult 3 Sunday School Class.  She was member of the Prosperity Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald “Donnie” Amick; sons, Chris (Melissa) Amick and Robbie (Jennifer) Amick both of Prosperity; a sister, Evelyn Clamp of Lexington, grandchildren, Kristin (Austin) Guy, Jessica (Zach Thompson) Amick, Nolan Amick and Eli Amick and a great-granddaughter, Natalee Guy.

She was predeceased by a brother, Larry Long and a sister, Vonetta Epperson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 15, 2023, at Macedonia Lutheran Church  by the Rev. Terry Hundley.  Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Prosperity Cemetery Association, c/o Linda Counts 212 Brown Street, Prosperity, SC 29127 or the Macedonia Lutheran Church, 49 Macedonia Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.

Active pallbearers will be Austin Guy, Zach Thompson, Kenny Clamp, Kevin Clamp, Kyle Vaughn and Ted Graham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Willie and Earline Mendenhall, Rick and Nancy Richardson, Fran Hentz, Doug Hipp and Debby Fulmer.
