Dianne Mae Bailey died peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Essentia Health - St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born on March 1, 1939, in Mayville, ND where she was raised on the farmlands of North Dakota and was the only child of Orlin and Ellen Kaldor. Dianne married her one true love, Leonard Bailey, on November 28, 1958. She attended Mayville State Teachers College and used those skills in raising four perfect daughters who wrote this obituary. In 1962, Leonard and Dianne moved to Detroit Lakes, MN, where they raised their family and were active members of the Congregational Church. Dianne’s greatest enjoyment came from a full house, and she was always entertaining family and friends. Dianne participated in all her daughters activities be it as a Campfire Girls Leader, Sunday School Teacher, cheering us on from the bleachers or in later years, following all the activities of her grandkids spread all around the country on her iPad.
Dianne was loved and will be missed by her four daughters: Sandy (John) Weekley, Leasha Bailey, Sue (Mike) Dahring and Gwen (Patrick) Arechigo, seven grandchildren: Michelle, Grant, Brett, Brandon, Brittany, Jake and Kennedy and nine great grandchildren: Paris, Austin, Jace, Rhea, Miles, Weston, Wyatt, Bailey and Camri.
