Obituary of Dianne Kay McKelvey
Dianne Kay McKelvey passed away on March 12, 2023, at Allison Care Center after a battle with Diabetes and Alzheimer's. Dianne was born in Grand Island Nebraska on August 1, 1942 the second daughter of Franklin and Avalon Rasmussen. She moved to Colorado in 1957 and graduated from East High School in 1960.
She married Dennis McKelvey in 1961.They had two daughters, Jeannie and Nancy.
Dianne worked for several different oil and gas companies throughout her career as an administrative assistant and made tons of friends along the way.
Dianne loved spending time with her family, holidays were especially important to her. She loved shopping and knew the mall like the back of her hand. She had many friends and enjoyed going out to dinner, movies, and shopping of course! Music was her passion, she would listen to all kinds of music, especially anything she could dance around the house too!
Dianne is survived by her two daughters Jeannie and Nancy (Stan), her sister Darlene, her grandchildren who she adored, Ryan, David (Olivia), Danielle, Dylan and Megan, and her BFF great granddaughter, Ella, and another great granddaughter arriving in May.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, until we meet again see you at the mall mom!
Funeral Services are at Peace Lutheran church, 5675 Field Street, Arvada CO 80002
