Memorial Visitation for Dianne K. Sisson, age 80 of Clearwater, Nebraska will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater. Burial will be in Clearwater Cemetery at a later date. Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Dianne passed away on July 17, 2023 at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill, NE. Dianne Kay Sisson was born on May 8, 1943 to Ralph and Belva (Lautenschlager) Shrader in Douglas County. She attended Orchard High School and graduated with the class of 1961. She attended Beauty School in Norfolk and graduated in July of 1962. On May 2, 1964 she was united in marriage to Gerald “Jerry” Sisson in Ewing, Nebraska. She worked as a Postmaster at Royal, waitressing at the L-B Steakhouse where she enjoyed meeting and talking with the people. She also enjoyed doing word find books and spending time with her family and especially her grandkids and great grandkids. Dianne was a member of Ewing Methodist-Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her children: Ronda (Dan) Schwager of Clearwater, NE; Renee (Randy) Knutzen of York, NE; Bill Sisson of Clearwater, NE; and Jerry Joe Sisson of Clearwater, NE. 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Brother, Gordon (Ralynn) Shrader of Orchard, NE.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Barbra Sisson-Hill.
