Dillard Baird Warren

On Tuesday, January 4, 2023, Cork passed away with family by his side.
Dillard "Cork" Warren was born January 27, 1950 in Burien, WA. He graduated from Tyee High School and attended University of Washington. He married Bev July 8, 1983 and lived most of his life in the Pacific Northwest. Cork worked hard to build his career, starting in the produce section of a grocery store and eventually working for Pepsi. There, he moved his way up the ladder and took pride in his work. Cork took Pepsi so seriously he wouldn't allow Coke in the home, refused to have a red vehicle, and always ordered Pepsi at restaurants that he knew were Coke accounts.
Pepsi even relocated Cork and his family to Hawaii for two years (1998-2000) where he loved the ocean views and scenery; "blue sky and 82," he would always say. Cork and Bev later moved to Goodyear, AZ in 2005 to retire by their pool and play shuffleboard, but they moved back to Washington in 2012 to be closer to family. Seeing his grandchildren would always light up his face.
Cork lived his final years in Bellingham in a home on the golf course where he enjoyed sitting outside, watching the golfers with a cold drink in hand, all while listening to some Rick Nelson.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
