CHARLOTTE – Dimitra "Toula" Tsouroudiakakis, 82, beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was born in Athens, Greece on July 21,1943 to the late George and Evangelia Zaharopoulos. Toula was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who prioritized her family above all else. She will be remembered for her warmth, her sense of humor, and her incredible strength in the face of adversity

Toula married her beloved husband Panagiotis in 1965 and immigrated to the United States in 1970 for a better future. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral and a member of the Psiloritis Cretan Association. Toula loved to cook and to garden with her grandchildren.

Toula is survived by her daughter, Sandy Vlahos and her husband, Danny. She will truly be missed by her grandchildren whom she loved very much Taxe, Panos and Demi. Also surviving are her two sisters, Cathy Kefalas and Meena Stathopoulos and her husband, Spero; her sister-in-law, Tula Zaharopoulos and many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Panagiotis Tsouroudiakakis; her son, George Tsouroudiakakis and her brother, Kosta Zaharopoulos.

The family would like to extend special thanks to their family and friends for all the support they received during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 600 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Taxe Vlahos, Panos Vlahos, Danny Kefalas, Angelo Kefalas, George Zaharopoulos, John Zaharopoulos, George Stathopoulos and Andrea Stathopoulos.

Memorials may be offered in memory of Toula to Panagia Prousiotissa at Elatos Park, 125 Jim Parker Road, Monroe, NC 28110.
