He was preceded in death by his sister Maria Kelley.
He is survived by his mother, Kristine Bailey, his stepfather Stewart Bailey, his father Artemio Perez, and sisters Kathleen (Joseph) Conley, Kelly (Kevin) Harr, Angela Holmes, Michelle Holmes, Jessica Perez and brother Branden Perez. He is also survived by his nieces Eva, and Grace, and nephews Thomas, William, Charlie, Lincoln, Oliver and Declan as well as many aunts and uncles.
Dionicio served honorably with the United States Marine Corps before becoming a letter carrier for the US Postal Service. Always a hard worker, he was conscientious and careful in everything he did. He was an avid gamer and had a love for animals, especially cats. He cared deeply for his family, co-workers and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held for Dionicio on Sunday, November 3rd, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at the American Legion Richard F. Smith Post 29 hall at 3200 Lansing Avenue, Jackson, MI 49202. A memorial mass will be conducted on Sunday, November 10th, at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 120 E. Wesley Street, Jackson, MI 49201 beginning at 4:00 pm.
