Dionicio Villa, 57, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, in Lubbock.
Born on July 29, 1968 in Midland, Texas, Dionicio brought immense joy and light to everyon who knew him. Living with special needs never defined him--it was his kindness, and gentle spirit that left a lasting impression on all.
Dionicio loved participating in all the activities at The Daybreak Community Center. His smile was contagious, and he had a remarkable way of making people feel welcomed and loved just as they were. He had a special bond with his caregiver Michael; the family holds a great appreciation for the care you provided.
He was deeply cherished by his family, especially his parents, siblings, roommates, and caregivers. He is survived by his siblings Anita Villa, Luis Villa, and Nataly Jasso, along with numerous relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents Julian and Nicolas Villa.
Though his journey was not always easy, Dionicio lived a life full of meaning and unconditional love. He reminded those around him of the beauty of patience, compassion and joy in life's simplest moments. His memory will forever remain a blessing to all who had the honor of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 12:00pm-1:30pm at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with services beginning at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
A memorial service will also be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 2:00 pm in Midland at True-Lite Christian Fellowship, 3301 North A Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Daybreak Community Services and/or Spectrum Solutions
