Mrs. Dionne Lenora Hester was born on February 27, 1970, in Washington, D.C. to Mr. and Mrs. John and Deborah Beverley. On March 1, 2025, God gently guided her to her heavenly home.
Dionne was educated by the Clay County School District and graduated from Middleburg High School. She worked for the Duval County School Board as a Cafeteria Manager with over twenty years of dedicated service. She loved her work and cherished the people she worked with, creating lifelong friendships.
One of Dionne's greatest accomplishments was being a mother to her children, James and Jayla. She was compassionate and dedicated to her family and always put the needs of others before her own. She was a movie connoisseur. Dionne loved gardening and baking sumptuous desserts for all to enjoy.
Mrs. Hester was preceded in death by her sister, Ms. Sonya Regina Beverley. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of twenty-six years, James Bernard Hester; her children, James Hester, Jr. and Jayla Hester; parents, John and Deborah Beverley; brother, John Wayne Beverley, Jr.; mother-in-law, Ruby Hester; brother-in-law, Rodney Hester; and a host of special family, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
Mrs. Dionne Lenora Hester, a wife, mother, daughter, sister and best friend to many – you will forever be missed!
