Mr. Dionte’ Marcell Douglas, the son of Helen L. Floyd (James L. Floyd) and James A. Douglas was born February 17, 1980 in Flint, Michigan. He passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

 Dionte’ attended school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Florence, South Carolina. Dionte’ was very proud to call himself a South Florence High School Bruin…Class of 1998 graduate. Dionte’ Was employed at Food Lion as a Produce Clerk, a job that he was very proud of at the time of his death. 

 At a very young age, Dionte’ developed a love for music and video games! A Self-Proclaimed Scholar, Dionte’ was knowledgeable on just about any topic you brought up and was not afraid to debate you on them! 

 After high school, Dionte’ held many jobs and he took pride in each and every one of them! Dionte’ was best known for his very authentic style of dress and his catchy rap lyrics! You would always see him with his flashy jewelry, sparkling grills and a pair of headphones in his ears.

 Dionte’ loved to make music with his brother, Jarvis. Dionte’ was also a diehard Philadelphia Eagles Fan!! Two things he held near and dear to his heart was his Mother and his Philadelphia Eagles! 

 Dionte’ was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Willie and Eula Price; and his maternal grandparents, Eddie and Mattie Taylor.

 Dionte’ leaves to mourn his beloved mother, Helen L. Floyd (step father, James L. Floyd) of Florence, South Carolina; his father, James A. Douglas of Waycross, Georgia; ten siblings, Lakisha (George) Ray and Jarvis (Dominque) Floyd both of Florence, South Carolina, Damon Maxwell, Tensy Daniels and Katie(Charles) Burns all of Atlanta, Georgia, Cassandra Walker of Houston Texas, Don Walker, Jackie Walker, Yasmine Walker and Chi-Chi Walker all of Flint, Michigan; 

his maternal grandfather, Sylvester (Sylvia) James of Waycross, Georgia; his paternal grandmother, Mary Floyd of Ashburn, Georgia; three aunts, Thawanna Young of Pooler, Georgia, Mary Lewis of Miami, Florida, Monica Floyd of Blythewood, South Carolina and Slyvia Simmons of Orlanda, Florida.; three five special uncles, Bishop Micheal-Angelo James and Mark James both Waycross, Georgia, Gerald Floyd of Blythewood, South Carolina, Stanley Jackson of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, and John Henry Douglas of Bowling Green, Kentucky; Dionte’ was affectionately known as Uncle Pop-Pop to his nieces and nephews, Kiara, Kayla, Kortney and George Ray, Jr., Serenity, Scott, Semaj, Kase and Kyhmir Floyd, Quinn and Xuri’Rae Briggs and Jeremy Wilson, Jr. all of Florence, South Carolina; also left to mourn Dionte’ are five special cousins, Anthony Jordan, Crystal Taylor, James Taylor, Lawrence Douglas and Jamon Floyd; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins spread across the USA.

Dionte’s infectious personality will be missed by everyone he came in contact with. To know Supreme, Spike, Dion, O or whatever you may have called him was to love him!!
