Graveside services for Dixie A. (Miller) Dunn, age 88, of Morristown, NY, will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 2:00PM at Edwardsville Cemetery with Rev. Robert Schirmer officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Frary Funeral Home. Mrs. Dunn passed away at Canton Potsdam Hospital on July 6, 2025.

Surviving Dixie are her two sons, David J. Dunn and his companion, Lydia Goodman, of Waymart, PA and Scott I. Dunn of Black Lake, NY and his dear friend, Susan VanVleet of Brier Hill, NY; two daughters, Julie A. Campbell of Massena, NY and Michele J. Anderson of Heuvelton, NY; her siblings, John Miller and his wife Leona of Ogdensburg, and Sandra Corey and her husband Bert of Antwerp, NY; six grandchildren, Teneka Dunn, Seychelle Dunn & Andrew Dunn, Sarah Anderson & Cody Anderson, and Arlydia Goodman; eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, Chuck Miller, Richard & Isabel Miller, Kay & Robert Twentyman, and Patrick Miller.

Dixie was born on July 20, 1936, in Parma Center, the daughter of Leo and Julia (Bartlett) Miller. Dixie graduated from Morristown, NY in 1954. Dixie married James Franklin Dunn on January 10, 1955, at a chapel in Paris Island, SC. He predeceased her on May 21, 2016. She was a member of the Rebekahs – IARA (Oddfellows) Organization and Sweet Adelines International.

Dixie enjoyed playing in the family's four-piece band alongside her son, Scott, and her husband, James. A dedicated homemaker for most of her life, she had a passion for DIY projects and home remodeling. After moving into her mother's former home, she completely renovated it with care and creativity. Outside of home improvement, Dixie also loved riding her motorcycle, camping, and cooking.
