Dixie Lee Neely 85, passed away Aug31, 2025. Dixie is preceded in death by her beloved Mother Tommie Lee Hancock and Father Cecil Lee Hancock. Dixie Lee Neely is survived by her devoted husband Lynn A. Neely Daughters, Shannon Lee Blandford, and Toya Kay Turner and Step-son F. Jarod Neely She is survived by Son-in-Law Russell Blandford, Grandchildren: Jayce Ryan Creech, Senisa Smalley, Caleb Blandford, and their spouse Corinna Creech, Grant Smalley, Erin Blandford. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Aiden Pollard-Torres, Ryan Creech, Carter Blandford, and Saylor Smalley. She is survived by her two sisters: Donna Kay Eberle, and Karen Ward and their Families. Dixie will be lovingly remembered by her many friends, especially those who shared her passion for the card game Bridge. She cherished playing cards, traveling-especially on cruises to breathtaking destinations-gambling, and spending time with her family as a Nana. Her beloved dog, Maggie May, and her favorite color, purple, added joy to her life. Always impeccably dressed, Dixie never failed to bring smiles wherever she went. She retired as an administrative aide from the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District and was a founding member of the Frances Booth Chapter of the Colonial Dames of the XVII Century. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Pallbearers: Caleb Blandford, Grant Smalley, Jayce Creech, Russell Blandford, Ryan Creech, Jarod Neely A Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 1:00 P.M. at Uvalde Methodist Church, 301 N. High Street, Uvalde, Texas. Interment to follow at Sabinal Cemetery in Sabinal, Texas.
