Dollie Bell Cogburn, age 87, passed into her eternal life on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
She was born on March 19, 1938, in Lodi. She was the daughter of Doyle Welch and Dorothy Duggan Welch. She was preceded in death by her parents; her six brothers and three sisters, Alvin Welch, Arlin Welch, Dewey Welch, Eugene Welch, Russell Welch, Bonnie Welch, Darlene Welch, Joyce Pedron, and Deloris Karst.
She was a strong, determined, Hardworking woman who had many talents and hobbies.
She held one job for 56 years at Shelby Manufacturing Company of Glenwood, Arkansas where she retired from in 2015.
She was an avid quilter, hunter, and fisherwoman, many times putting Jessie Lee to shame while grinning ear to ear. She was a great cook and frying fish was her specialty.
She was a wonderful mother who done her very best to raise her three children while working a full time job. She was all about her family and above all loved her Lord Jesus.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jessie Lee Cogburn; her two sons, Rodney (Donna) Cogburn and Billy Cogburn; her daughter, Glenda (Ronnie) Wise; her five grandchildren, Jacob (Morgan) Cogburn, Amber (Jamie) Lambert, Laura (Dalton) Tigue, Meagan (Michael) Sims, Tabitha Wise; her many great-grandchildren; her sister, Kaye (Paul) Schoeff; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held prior to graveside services on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Mount Tabor Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Tidwell and Alan Schoeff officiating.
