Dolly Ann Travis

Dolly Ann Travis, age 75, of Oxford, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Dolly was born in Almont on October 10, 1949, to Kenneth and Betty Withun. Dolly graduated from Oxford Community High in 1968. Dolly married the love of her life, Stephen, on June 5, 1971.

Dolly loved bowling, camping, and spending time with friends and family. In later years, her biggest joy was spending time with and spoiling all of her nieces and nephews. She had so much love for all of them. She was everybody's "Aunt Dolly," whether they were related or not.

Dolly was always going above and beyond for everyone. She always put everyone else's needs before her own. Her kind and gentle heart will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

Dolly is survived by her beloved husband Stephen of 54 years; cherished daughter Stacey Travis; brother Dan (Janice) Withun; sister Dee (Don) Heichel; sisters in law Cassandra (Dallas) Acker, Connie (Bill) Skyles; nieces and nephews Andrew (Kaitlyn) Rini, Nick Heichel, Ashley (Gavin) Lees, Daniel (Ashley) Withun, Charlene (Dave) Theriault, Shelly (Ed) LaLonde, Heidi (Joe) Fogarty, Andrew (Becky) Ahohen, Heather (Miguel) Ahonen, and many great-nieces and nephews.

Dolly was preceded in death by her beloved son, Stephen Jr.; parents, Ken and Betty Withun; parents-in-law, Ernest and Pauline Travis; and niece Joy LaLonde.

Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford, on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 3 PM-8 PM and on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 10 AM-11 AM with a funeral service at 11 AM. Interment to immediately follow at Oxford Township Cemetery.
