Dolores Rolande Belanger ObituaryWashington –Dolores R. Belanger of Washington, CT passed unexpectedly on September 25, 2024 at West Side Care Center in Manchester. Dolores was born August 21, 1958 in Saint Albans, Vermont. She was the daughter of Roland and Marie-Ange Belanger.
She and her family moved to Connecticut in 1964. Dolores attended Region 12 Schools and graduated in 1976. She worked at Devereux Glenholme and for the State of Connecticut Department of MHAS.
She enjoyed crocheting, drawing and reading. She loved many different types of music, with Celtic Woman being one of her favorites.
Dolores gave birth to her daughter, heather in 1976, whom she loved greatly.
She leaves behind her mother, Marie-Ange Belanger; her brother, Norman (Kathy) sister, Pamela McCalvin; brother, Vincent (Dawn); many nephews and nieces; aunts, Beverly and Doris; uncles, Emile and Raymond and many cousins.
She was predeceased by her father, Roland and her brother, Brian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 1, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 34 Green Hill Rd., Washington Depot, CT.
Burial will follow in Washington Green Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
